Trust. Faith. God takes You by the Hand

The man who walks with the eyes open, sees what he thinks is the reality but as the day darkens, he can’t proceed. And if there was a faint brightness, he may fall down in the abyss if coming too close to a curve in the road.
Faith is more than a light. It is a guide in the path of eternity. Even more, it is Wisdom that opens the heart. Love that moves the hardest heart. Peace that renews and makes life possible. And especially, it is the Love present in every moment, that shelters, preserves, protects, nourishes and offers solidarity.
It never discriminates but always accompanies, cries and laughs for us and in us.
Faith is not only a word, it is hope and life. It is a fulfilled promise and infinite tenderness. Faith is yesterday, today and always.
When the man walks with Faith, although his eyes seem to be closed, he will reach his goal because God is taking him by the hand.

The Unreachable Mountain. Short Inspirational Story

The mountain was high, 
so high that seemed unreachable….
however, it was necessary to make the effort, 
to continue and to persist.
After great and arduous works 
that included vicissitudes and sacrifices, 
the high mountain that seemed to touch the stars, 
finally was reached 
and after recovering the breath,
stepping on the land and contemplating the rivers and plains, 
that seemed small silver threads, images that could not be defined
and seemed only as dots of colors.
After seen such an extraordinary vision, 
the man, with effort looked a little higher, 
to discover that the mountain that he had ascended 
was of all the countless chains of mountains,
the humblest and the smallest
There were, of course, higher ones 
and many than would fill, not only a universe, 
but rather many more.
Then, that man said: 
-I thought that my efforts were great
and my sacrifices were too many 
but now I discover that I have only shaken the dust of the road.
How will I be able to advance in the path 
if I thought that I had already given everything?
But, in an instant, a flash of light entered his heart 
and made him understand:
“We won’t only advance for efforts, 
sacrifices or for long hours of vigil, 
it won’t only be a rigorous system of life”
Of course! 
the man understood….
he had fought with his own limits, 
with the shades of his selfishness, 
but now he had discovered a truth larger than himself.
There was only a method that would level the path
and that would make of those summits his friends.
The answer, truly, is to love the path…
and for this grace, 
for the authority that gives this power, 
the faith is born 
and there are no longer limits,
even, there is no path,
everything has united….
In that instant, 
the man found the knowledge, 
he savored the wisdom 
and he really loved Love.
It had been discovered the reason 
and the mystery of Faith.

The Personal Relationship with God

To have Faith, is to have a personal relationship with God. The topic is very ample; we can talk from the historical point of view, but what is most relevant here, without subtracting importance to the past, is its meaning in all its dimension, which is and will always be, the vision of God, for us, as individuals, family and society. The topic on Faith must not be simplistic. If I believe that God exists, that is good, but if I don’t do anything, then, is very bad.  Since knowing that Truth exists, is supposed to take me to search, know, interpret and learn about it, otherwise my knowledge would be too loose. I can pronounce and repeat the name of God, many times, but if I don’t feel Him in my heart, then, I am not true but I will be ignoring the principles of Faith, in a deliberate way .

Which means, not only to love and to believe in theory, but practicing, to accomplish the effective conversion of faith. How to have more faith? The person who has faith, appreciates, respects, honors and manifests it; it is a gift, given by spiritual virtue and the one who has it, knows in a positive, absolute way, that God loves and knows him and that God is just and true. And with this knowledge, he treasures faith and practices in a very active way – by thought and action- the laws and commandments of God, based on the purity of Love. The key to growth is found here. Since man can only grow, by making progress in his beliefs, because faith is the active Love of God, the presence of His Word and it is a daily inspiration. By acceptance and knowledge, faith will grow in the Love expressed with solidarity to the human family as universal service.
